How Can I Resend the Purchase Receipt?

Mostly after downloading a product the customer has only the receipt which keeps a link to the product they’ve downloaded. If in any case the if it never gets through on the initial send or the receipt is lost. The customer will ask you for a new copy. This article will guide you to easily resend that to them.

  • First find ‘Payment History’ item under Downloads → Payment History,

Hover over the email address of the customer in the list and get a link to resend the receipt

Another way to do it is to open View Order Details, and then click on the Edit page for a single payment. Then inside the Update Payment meta box in the top right you’ll find a button labeled Resend Receipt.  This receipt will have the download link that was on the original.

Additional Options

If you want a proper link you can create a page with the [purchase_history] shortcode on it. Your customers just need to have an account on your site they will be able to log in and see all their purchased items and download them whenever.
